7th grade - 12th grade

YOuth GRoup

What is it? 

Youth group is for 7th-12th grade students to gather together with loving adult leaders who care deeply about them. 

When?

Youth Group meets from 6:30-8pm on the first and third Wednesday of each month

after a church-wide dinner in the Fellowship Center.

Where?

The youth building next door, unless it's a special event.

Why?

Youth Group is all about loving God and loving others. We meet with three goals in mind:  community, faith and life. We desire to create an environment where we can be authentic with one another and where we can embrace everyone the way a loving, Christian community should. We want to be continually growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ and deepening the roots of our faith in God by the power of the Holy Spirit. We also want to be people that are a blessing to others, so that people see Jesus in us when we speak, when we serve and when we act. Since Jesus Christ has changed our lives, we want to positively change the lives of others around us.

High School Students

CATECHISM

When: Every Sunday after the morning service. 

10:45-11:45am

Who: 

9th and 12th graders will be in one class.

Why: During this time, our 9th through 12th grade students study the Bible using various curriculum and our Reformed Confessions ( Belgic Confession, Heidelberg Catechism, Canons of Dort).


To put it simply, we dedicate this time to studying the Bible because we hunger for the Word of God. We study it by way of our Reformed Confessions, because we do not do so in a vacuum, but in the tradition of those who have gone on before us.
